pink ribbon

TOP COOKIE at  give a crafter a cookie  challenge #30 Pink
This card was constructed around this   beautiful Maris digistamp.
She was coloured using spectrum noir markers BP 2,4,6 for the ribbon FS 4,7and CR 2 for the skin with some touch-ups from Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils Her hair was EB 6, GB6 and TN6
The flower she is on was made by cutting for different sized leaf shapes from nesting dies in my cuttlebug I then used flower stamps to give it a flower look. The flower was constructed with the small petals slightly lifted from the leaves with tiny 3D dots.
The butterfly, pink ribbon button and photo corners were all from my stash as were the diamantes.
The background paper from a 6x6 paper stack, from the Kmart Creativ range was adhered first to a card cut from A4 white card.
The sentiment was printed out on my Dymo adhered to the pink cardstock and trimmed and mounted on a small piece of lace with double sided tape.
The whole card was then trimmed with an overabundance of Kindy glitz. I dont use much glitter but when I do I tend to go over board.

snowflake Tilda

This card was created around Tilda from Magnolia.  she was coloured using spectrum noir pens in shades of purple on white card. Her background is snowflakes stencilled with old eyeshadow. She was then matted on a very thin layer of purple cardstock.
The patterned doilies were cut using nested dies in my cuttlebug. and the merry christmas sentiment and purple doily are also cut from dies in my cuttle bug.
Kindy glitz was then applied to give it more of a christmassy feel.
all papers and cardstock were from my stash

born in the sixties

https://www.facebook.com/groups/951431751563289/

This card was created from an adult colouring book the card was just a white A5 card
the multicoloured doily was cut from a Kaisercraft die (after hours of sharpening by cutting through sandpaper and alfoil).
The yellow paper is simply from my stash. The card was then mounted on a gold and white washi tape to complement the gold coloured star the metallic look was continued by punching the splats from silver paper. The twist is the totally unconventional look of this birthday card

graveyard witch

My graveyard witch from Faery ink was coloured on watercolour paper with watercolour pencils and Timholtz distress markers.
she was cut out and adhered to a sheet of black cardstock that had been trimmed into an oval shape and embellished with chalk over a stencil to produce the ghosts and head stones. Oval was edged with a silver pen from Zig and adhered to a piece of red cardstock and gold corner stickers to set off.  all mounted on A6 greeting card.  the little bat was from my stash (I've had them for years) Hope you like her she was fun to do.

Jack O'lantern witch

Jack O'lantern witch
 https://www.facebook.com/groups/951431751563289/
This cute little witch from My Besties was coloured using spectrum noir pens with water colour pencils and Pitt artist Pens from Faber-Castell  for touch ups
The stars on her hat were done using a silver pen by Zig and the crosses on her stockings were a green glitter pen from uniball (doesn't show up very well in the photo).
The background was  stenciled using lipstick applied with a makeup sponge.
the whole image was enhanced with glitter chalk (again doesn't show in photo)
To get the effect of candles burning inside the pumpkin I used a gold iridescent card under the cutout eyes and mouth
mounted on a border of washi tape

another cutie

This little cutie is from the My Besties range of digistamps
  https://www.facebook.com/groups/951431751563289/

She was coloured with Tim Holtz distress markers and watercolor pencils. The background was coloured by using a cheap make up sponge and a very old lipstick palette (over 10 years old) too old to use as makeup but perfect for use with stencils.
she was then coloured with glitter chalk and mounted on a border of washi tape.
