dolls house

this little ragdoll was drawn and coloured by me first time I have used her.  I felt she was ideal for a dolls house card.
The fairy pad is a digi amd the f;ower pot with the birds hous is a rubber stamp from my stash all were coloured with spectrum noir and fussy cut
the fairy pad is adhered with glue to the green background
the rag doll and the flower pot were then adhered to this with foam dots to lift them a little from the page the ribbon and the birds were just taken from my stash. I kindy glitzed everything probably went overboard again
the ribbon and green card were adhered with double sided tape to a card blank.
hope you like my little cutie

little blue mermaids

I made this pair of cards for my granddaughters' joint birthday card.  I posted them together because they are a pair.
the mermaids were stamped onto water colour paper with ranger archival waterproof ink
they were coloured with watercolour pencils and Tim Holtz distress pens. both the blue doilies were diecut with my cuttlebug
the paper was from an old collection in my stash.  they were both embellished with foil stickers.
they were both kept purposely simple for this occasion as their main cards and presents were given to them on their individual birthdays

the edge of the green cardstock was cut with a serrated blade that was then outlined with a silver pen the embossed image was sanded to highlight the tree the star and baubles were coloured with gold and silver pens
red cardstock was trimmed to size and adhered to a card blank then the gold foil sticker was used to outline the card and the foil sentiment was added both green and red

This Melonheadz image was the inspiration for this page base card stock is Kraft card the second layer was simply a pale blue patterned paper out of my stash.
The image was coloured using spectrum noir pens and fussy cut to adhere at the bottom corner of this page
The blue paper was trimmed smaller than the Kraft card then the edges were inked in a contrasting purple paper.
The three tiles are simply some clear stamps out of my stash stamped in the same purple and enhanced with white gel pen before being cut into tiles and given the black drop shadow to geive them an illusion of dimension.
The title was done in the same way the alpha was stamped and fussy cut and enhanced with white gel pen the journalling was was created using my dymo label maker a very simple page hope you like it

christmas beauty

this gorgeous stamp from my besties is coloured with Spectrum noir pens. the white fleece was done with TB1&2 and then I used the blender pen to get the paper nice and wet. I then added Pitt Big brush pen in white to cover the areas.  Gives an effect of textured white (you have to see it in real to appreciate this)
The white card was trimmed with a scallop blade and the edges inked with lipstick.  there is a chalked background of snowflakes but hard to see in a photo
the green card was embossed with my cuttlebug both green and white cards are adhered in opposite angles to the red cardstock on my card blank,  the sentiment is also from a die run through my cuttlebug.  hope you like her

the stamping was done after colouring with again sepia ink.  the background was then chalked to give it an aged paper feel. this was then mounted on a sepia toned patterned paper and adhered to a card blank

woodland Nymphs

woodland nymphs
This is a double page from the adult colouring book Enchanted Forest usually I wouldnt enter a colouring page but this really fit this competitions theme.
It is coloured with Faber castell polychromos pencilss with a little help from Rembrandt Lyra polycolour pencils.
the background was done with crayons Texta twistables and Fabercastll erasables.
I then burnished the crayon by scraping excess off the top
not sure what I will use this colouring for but I really like it so even if it doesnt get used for anything it was worth the time taken to colour it

lacy sunshine

https://www.facebook.com/groups/951431751563289/
This card was made using a Julia Spiri design.
My card blank was covered with a deep green card
The lace (my something old) has been in my stash for seven years It was quite wide so I doubled it over itself and attached with double sided tape
The ribbon was attached over the top of this with double sided tape
Next I cut three squares of different colour greens and different sizes from nesting dies in my cuttlebug
After the edges were inked I attached them in a random arrangement on the front of the card
They were next stamped with green ink with a stamp of gum leaves
After the image was coloured with Spectrum Noir I close cropped and inked the edges with green ink and added the grass stamp and the bicycle stamps
The image was  chalked with blue and green chalk (eye shadow) before attaching it to the card and the diamantes and clear pebbles were attached to the corners
I then trimmed the whole lot to size

TOP COOKIE at  give a crafter a cookie  challenge #30 Pink
This card was constructed around this   beautiful Maris digistamp.
She was coloured using spectrum noir markers BP 2,4,6 for the ribbon FS 4,7and CR 2 for the skin with some touch-ups from Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils Her hair was EB 6, GB6 and TN6
The flower she is on was made by cutting for different sized leaf shapes from nesting dies in my cuttlebug I then used flower stamps to give it a flower look. The flower was constructed with the small petals slightly lifted from the leaves with tiny 3D dots.
The butterfly, pink ribbon button and photo corners were all from my stash as were the diamantes.
The background paper from a 6x6 paper stack, from the Kmart Creativ range was adhered first to a card cut from A4 white card.
The sentiment was printed out on my Dymo adhered to the pink cardstock and trimmed and mounted on a small piece of lace with double sided tape.
The whole card was then trimmed with an overabundance of Kindy glitz. I dont use much glitter but when I do I tend to go over board.

born in the sixties

https://www.facebook.com/groups/951431751563289/

This card was created from an adult colouring book the card was just a white A5 card
the multicoloured doily was cut from a Kaisercraft die (after hours of sharpening by cutting through sandpaper and alfoil).
The yellow paper is simply from my stash. The card was then mounted on a gold and white washi tape to complement the gold coloured star the metallic look was continued by punching the splats from silver paper. The twist is the totally unconventional look of this birthday card
